Born in 1984 in Oviedo, Spain. Graphic designer by vocation.
In 2002, he started a design degree at the school of Arts in Oviedo and worked hard in every possible job to cover for his expenses. In his last semester, he moved to London to improve his English skills and find inspiration for his final project.
In 2004, he completed his degree and was immediately hired by Arronetes & Barerra one of the most prestigious design studios in Spain settled in Oviedo. High profile customers included Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico, Central Lechera Asturiana and cajAsturias (Bank) among others.
In 2006, he was awarded with the Hugo Boss Creative prize in Madrid. His designs were used for promotion and marketing purposes all around Spain.
Juan is currently hired at Perfil Creativo, a renowned advertising agency in Madrid. He is in charge of all graphic design for VIPS, the leading restaurant&shop chain in Spain and the catalogues of Cristianl Lay, a fashion brand with stakeholders in Europe, the Americas and Africa. He also collaborates with Starbucks and Friday´s Restaurants.
Along with his job at Perfil Creativo, Juan works as a freelance, notably for the film industry. It is an unparalleled opportunity to deliver more personal products in line with his understanding of design and gain international exposure. Proof of this is his last collaboration with the acclaimed Spanish movie Six points about Emma, which had its premiere simultaneously in Spain, the Spanish Film festival in Australia and the Seattle Film Festival in the US.
